Scudder Lineage from Kent, England
Our common ancestor was Henry Scudder, yeoman of Horton Kirby, Kent, who died by November, 1594. Our Association includes persons who can trace their lineage to three of Henry’s offspring:
- Thomas Scudder (T) who arrive at Salem, Massachusetts in 1637
- John Scudder (J) nephew of Thomas who arrived at Charlestown, Massachusetts in 1635
- Elizabeth Scudder Lathrop (E), sister of John who arrived at Boston, Massachusetts by 1644.
