Meet Meredith Scudder
2020 was the year that set Scottie Scheffler’s career into overdrive. He tied for fourth at the PGA Championship, shot 12-under 59 at The Northern Trust, and was named the 2020 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year. It’s also no coincidence 2020 was the year he married his high school sweetheart, who just so happens to be a Scudder.
Meet Meredith Scudder.
Scudder and Scheffler grew up in Texas, where the two met at Highland Park High School before Scheffler went on to attend the University of Texas, whilst Scudder attended the rival University of Texas A&M.
As Scheffler’s high school sweetheart, Scudder has been there for many of his career’s best moments, including standing beside him as his caddy at The Masters Par-3 Contest last week and as he shot 10-under par to crown him the 2022 Masters Champion.
Scudder can also be credited for the win, keeping Scheffler calm, cool, and collected on Sunday afternoon.
“I was sitting there telling Meredith, ‘I don’t think I’m ready for this…I don’t feel like I’m ready for this kind of stuff.’ And she told me, ‘Who are you to say that you are not ready?'” Scheffler recalled in a post-tournament interview on Sunday.

My wife and I are life long Christians believing truely the way in life is to glorify Jesus Christ thru our life long goals -actions-demeanor- and compassion for others
I’ve been in the ready mix business for over 50 years- I’m 60 my father was obliviously a contractor in construction I’ve been in concrete since I could lift a wheel barrel, my wife Dr Maria emiliana valley Picardo
Has a much different background, she currently works for OSHA in Tinley Park Il. (Chicago) she migrated from the Philippines to her dream of America thanks to her mother who is now about to enjoy her 99 birthday-has devoted her self to the church and the hungry,weak,and the poor for 75 years- after 12 years of waiting and paying 60k$ my wife arrived here in 1996 . She had already graduated from a prestigious Dental College
Too 5% in her class, I say that cause her father, who is deceased was extremely proud of her for that and her family is rather large, she’s the third of true triplets born to this beautiful woman Olive Picardo, who was a homicide detective in Manila after surviving the Japanese invasion and ruthless occupation of her home in Guyain province
Her husband grew up in Manila became the head of the largest newspaper in the Philippines before he retired and went in to own a shipping salvage business
Maria came here as a dentist and enjoyes her friends from the Philippines who migrated before and after her, she she sort of a late bloomer, you she practiced as a oral surgeon and the got her second masters degree and became a professor at the University where she acquired her skills, petite STEADY hands- lol- anyway after arriving here and living with her older sister (6min) she found employment and settled into the SF Bay Area
Then in 2002 after 9/11 she joined the US Army
To help with the mission of protecting America , she a true American hero served in Japan , Korea and finally in Anchorage Ak where we met. After that the Lord has given us many things to accomplish with limited experience but lots of grit and tenaciously drive we moved to Monterey Ca , ( pebble beach right around the corner) we absolutely loved the drive around the course and beach, unfortunately the political climate was alittle to liberal for us and since we’ve never been able to have children we’ve enjoyed moving around the country, went to Billings MT after Monterey I love to fish and enjoy the mountains, her not so much she got bored after couple years and she used her GI benefits went back to school (we moved to Daytona Beach Fl)
She attended Embry University and got her pilot license and degree in aeronautical engineering- she knocked out the 4 year course in 3 years cause she knew the humidity was killing me
Then we moved to Prescott AZ so she could get her masters degree in forensic analysis of airline crashes
She achieved more than most could because while in the military she became 100 % disabled, she fought through that with alot of help and support from the VA
Eventually working for the government VA in Silicon Valley- Mountain View Ca
Understand I grew up in Sebastopol ca it’s now wine country- but in the 60s 70s it was Apple country I miss those days – she took the job at the VA cause I’d be close to my child hood home
She’s the best at least I think so.
Now the reason I’m writing you is we’ve got multiple properties around the world, Sf-Chicago-Manila
