Come join us as we celebrate an historic occasion – 200 years of a family’s devotion to the service of others.
The Scudder Association will hold its Annual Meeting just outside Boston, in Hull Massachusetts, October 12,13 &14, 2018. The location is fitting as this where Dr. John Scudder departed on his medical mission to Sri Lanka, in 1819. We will be extending the invitation to both established members as well as prospective members. It will be a wonderful venue to get to know our cousins.
Dr. John Scudder and his wife Harriet depart from Boston on a journey that continues to this day.
The Annual Meeting will take place in Hull, MA on the South Shore of Boston Harbor.

We’ll Rally at Nantasket Beach, Friday October 12th
Friday evening the Association will welcome members and prospective members with a dinner at a popular local restaurant.
Both dinners on Friday and Saturday evenings will be subsidized by the Scudder Association
Dr. Alison Taylor, great granddaughter of Dr. John and Silas Scudder, will join us via Skype to give us an account of her recent volunteer work at CMC. She is a 7th generation Scudder doctor to go to Vellore.
Saturday – Visit Historic Boston
Saturday morning and afternoon will be devoted to touring the many historical sites Boston has to offer. Boston is a 20 minute ferry ride and a 40 minute car ride from Hull.
Both dinners on Friday and Saturday evenings will be subsidized by the Scudder Association
Saturday Night – Annual Association Dinner
Saturday evening, the Association will host a cocktail and dinner, featuring Dr. Honorine Ward, Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences – Tufts University and Chairwoman, CMC Vellore Foundation.
